Nathan McCarty

Nathan McCarty is both a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and an AAMFT approved supervisor. He has practiced in many settings, including private practices, universities, intensive in-home care, and outpatient care.  EFT and EMDR training is part of Nathan's training.

 

Nathan provides clinical supervision for those seeking licensure in the state of Iowa, particularly focused on working with couples and marriages.

 

It can be difficult and sometimes unmanageable to cope with hopelessness, anxiety, and other stressors in daily life. I work with individuals, couples, children, adolescents, and families to cope with, understand, and overcome these stressors. The goal of my work is to establish trust and working relationships to educate about the impact on mental health, how to manage stressors, and how to identify preventative techniques for addressing those issues.
